Margie Ann Moore

Margie Ann Holder Moore, 82, of Austell, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 1, 2014, on her birthday at Kennestone Hospital. She was born in Walton County, Georgia to the late Watson L. and Kate Sorrells Holder. Margie was a retired book keeper and a member of Concord Baptist Church. Margie loved her family, friends and church. She enjoyed cooking and canning fresh vegetables. Also, taking road trips with her husband, Grady. Margie was preceded in death by her father and mother, Watson L. & Kate Sorrells Holder; sister, Faye Holder Fuller. She leaves behind to mourn her spirit, her beloved husband of forty six years, John Grady Moore, step children, David and Doug Moore, Janet (Jim) Miller, brothers, Lewis (Mary) Holder, Rick (Susan) Holder; brother-in-law, Jack Fuller; aunt, Opal Sorrells, brother and sister-in-law, Jane (Roy) Jordan; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Diabetes Association or Concord Baptist Church. Family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Roy Davis funeral home. Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Sunday at Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Wilkins officiating. Interment at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
