Lonnie was born on February 23 1967 in Douglasville, GA to the late Lonnie Hawkins Sr and Sharon Sue Hawkins.
Lonnie loved hunting and fishing and just being outdoors. He was a huge Dawgs fan and loved Nascar, Mark Martin #6 was his favorite driver He was a Tile man and enjoyed taxidermy. He had a great sense of humor and Lonnie was loved by so many.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his Mom and Dad, paternal grandparents George Washington Hawkins and Evelyn Hawkins Jacobs and maternal grandparents John Matney and Lois Matney Davis.
He is survived by his wife Kelly Hawkins of Marietta, and his son's and their wives, Lonnie and Allison R. Hawkins III of Waleska, GA and Dean and Madeline Hawkins of Pine Mountain, GA, and three sisters Tessa Sutton of Heflin, AL, Sharon Hawkins of Rockmart, GA and Tabitha Hawkins of Bremen. He had five sweet grandchildren Hunter, Charly, Isla, Bristol and Rayne and two nieces
and lots of nephews.
