Lois Selma Rogers

Mrs. Lois Selma Rogers, age 94, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, in Douglas County, GA.

Mrs. Rogers was born on May 31, 1929, in Coolidge, GA, to her parents, the late Mr. Charles E. Hogan and the late Mrs. Elsaley Worthy Hogan.  Mrs. Rogers loved spending time with her family and enjoyed fishing and going camping.

Mrs. Rogers will be dearly missed by her many friends and loved ones.

She is survived by her children; Randall Rogers and his wife Darlene, Barbara Floyd, Dianne Smith and her husband (Glenn) and Robin Rogers. Eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.  Many nieces, nephews, other friends, and relatives also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Mr. Melvin Jack Rogers and many brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Roy Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Albert Morris officiating.

Interment will follow in the Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Rogers family will be receiving friends on Wednesday December 6, 2023, from 4-7 PM.
