Laurence Dale DeShong, age 67 of Austell died Friday, August 21, 2009 at his residence in Austell.He is survived by his loving wife, Terry Mason DeShong; daughters, Dawn Hawley of Lithia Springs, Joanie Gillstrap of Austell, Lisa Beech of Grandbay, AL, Heather Zirlott of Austell; brothers, Wallace DeShong of Texas, Joseph DeShong of Texas, Thomas DeShong of Valrico, Florida; sister, Lorene DeShong of Tampa, Florida; 21 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, 2 pm at the funeral home with Pastor John Alexander officiating.The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 pm until 8 pm.
