Larry Golson Cole

Larry Golson Cole, 72, of Austell, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020. He is survived by his sisters; Linda Wingert, and Barbara (Tommy) Hagler. Niece Melissa Jones and nephews Bill Johnson, Matthew Hagler, and Keith Wingert.Great-nieces Rylee Hagler and Juniper Johnson and great-nephew Samuel Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Golson and Grace Cole, and his sister Judy Darlene Cole. Larry graduated from South Cobb High School in 1966, and from West Georgia College in 1970. He is a U.S. Army veteran where he served two years in the Army and four years in the Army Reserves and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. Larry was a generous, selfless, family-oriented man. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
