Kevin "Scott" Summers

Kevin "Scott" Summers, age 63, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023. He is survived by his father Charles B. Summers, Jr., brother Randy (Maria) Summers and sister Lisa (Keith) Pettway; he is preceded in death by his mother Mary Summers, grandparents Charles & Elsie Summers and John & Lille Mae Bolden, and great nephew Levi Pettway. Nieces and nephews include Neal (Brittany) Pettway, Lindsey (Johnny) Harris, Heather (Jason) Butler and Kristen (Daniel) Baldus. Great nieces and nephews include Ryleigh, Canaan, Asher and Titus Harris; Lila, Lucy and Bo Pettway; Eli and Gracie Baldus, Luke and Hailey Butler.

Scott, also known as Kevin, lived in a special needs group home with two awesome roommates and multiple incredibly loving caregivers. He was born with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. To know him was to fall in love with him. Kevin was a great entertainer and a fun loving spirit...most of the time (lol). He loved to laugh and make others laugh...most of the time. He loved to eat vegetables, be silly, and be the center of attention. He was a super person to know, who endured a lot in this world.

He's free now in his new body and mind dancing with Jesus. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14

The location of Scott's service has been moved to the Mausoleum Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 13, 2023, officiated by Keith Pettway. A procession to the graveside will follow.
