Ken Greer

Ken Greer, 74 of Austell, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019. He was born in Atlanta on February 12, 1945, the son of Ralph and Ida Greer. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Greer of Austell; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Greer Wood and Danny Wood of Marietta; son, Russell Greer of Austell; brothers, Mike Greer of Lineville, AL, and David Greer of Douglasville; grandchildren Emily Wood, Elliott Wood and Dominique Greer, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Greer worked as a cabinet maker until his retirement. He was a member of Woodstock Church at Austell (formerly First Baptist Church of Austell) and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved being with his family. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday, November 19, at the funeral home.The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 20, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens.
