Kathy Hindman

Kathy Darlene Hindman, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13th, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on Monday, April 25th, 1960, in Atlanta, Georgia, Kathy was a beacon of love and laughter to all who knew her.

Kathy dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming home filled with love and laughter. Her generous spirit and sense of humor were cherished by everyone around her. Kathy had a passion for NASCAR, a love for Tom Petty's music, and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, like Salem Lights and a cold Coke.

Kathy is survived by her loving children, Tonya Hindman, James Hindman, and Darlene Hindman. Her sister Tammy D'Amato, and her mother Jackie Buchanan. She was a proud grandmother to Aden Hindman and Lexi Burke, and a doting great-grandmother to Aurora Burke. Kathy's family was the center of her world, and her legacy of love will continue through them.

She was preceded in death by her father, Preston Buchanan, whom she cherished dearly, and her siblings, Vicki Buchanan, and Terry Buchanan.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kathy's life at a visitation on Monday, February 17th, from 4 to 8 PM at the chapel. A service will be held on Tuesday, February 18th, at 12 PM, followed by her burial at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Roy Davis Funeral Home, where Kathy's memory will be honored with the dignity and respect she deserves.

Kathy will be remembered for her loving nature, her generous heart, and her unwavering ability to bring joy to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
