Kathy Lynn Cooper

Kathy Lynn Cooper, 60 of Carrollton, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021. She is survived by her children, Paul & Kayla Edwards of Carrollton, Matthew Edwards of Hiram and Kayla & Russell Bowden of Leesburg; brother, Anthony Cooper of Lithia Springs; sister, Saundra Cooper of Dallas; grandchildren, Timothy & Leanna Johnson, Jacob & Nicole Edwards, Jade Bowden and Lily Bowden; great grandchildren, Hadley Hope Johnson and Anastasia Justice Johnson; many nieces and nephews, and her dog, Tank. Kathy loved her family more than anything else. She loved cooking for them and was always in the kitchen every chance she got. She enjoyed a good meal with her family, whether it was home-cooked, Subway or Sunday dinner at Cracker Barrel. She had a sweet tooth for ice cream and chocolate covered cherries. She liked Facebook, shopping on Amazon and going to Dollar Tree. She attended Midway West Church when she could and enjoyed the beach whenever she had a chance to go. Though she could be stubborn, Kathy loved to laugh and make others laugh. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. To celebrate Kathy’s life, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 12, at Roy Davis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends during the hour before the service.
