Kathy Louise Burns

Kathy Louise Burns, 65 of Austell, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. She was born in Bristol, Tennessee on August 2, 1954, the daughter of Charles Edward Meredith and Elizabeth Kathleen Powers Meredith. She is survived by her sons, Wayne Emory of Clarkdale and Chuck Burns of Bremen; mother, Elizabeth Kathleen Meredith of Powder Springs; sister and brothers, Carolyn Baldwin of Powder Springs, Allen Garland Meredith of Augusta, Gary (Jane) Meredith of Mascot, Tennessee and Wayne (Wanda) Meredith of St. Joseph, Missouri; grandchildren, Skyler Emory, Gage Emory, Madison Emory, James Emory, Lea Emory, Austin Emory and Brandon Emory, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Meredith; brother, David F. Meredith and son, Sgt. Michael Adam Emory. Kathy was a caring person and worked as a homecare nurse. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Austell. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by them. Funeral services will be private.
