Katherine Ruth Waters

Katherine Ruth Waters passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. She was born in Dekalb, Ga., on January 6, 1932. Katherine enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family. She was a kindhearted woman that had a true compassion for family and will be extremely missed. Katherine is proceeded in death by her loving husband Oscar Loyd Waters, along with her sister Margie Wheeling, and her Brothers Gene Hall, Curtis Hall, Ray Hall, Robbie Hall, Buddy Hall, Donald Hall and Billy Hall. She is survived by her sons, James Waters, Thomas “Bo” Waters and Manuel Waters. Daughters, Kathy Joann Cromer and Carolyn Langford Hays. As well as her sisters, Cornelia Littleton, Daisy Padgett, Dianne Padgett, Linda Lamine, Brenda Shields, and Gloria Hall. Katherine has 10 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, and 20 Great Great Grandchildren. Katherine is proceeded in death by 1 Grandchild and 1 Great Grandchild. She leaves to cherish so many nieces and nephews who will greatly miss her. A visitation will be held on Monday December 2, 2024, From 4pm-7pm at Roy Davis Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday December 3, 2024, at 12 noon at Roy Davis Funeral Home 5935 Mulberry Street Austell, GA 30168 The internment will be held at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
