Judy Horton

Judy Marie Horton, 73 of Mableton, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 24, 2019. She was born in Atlanta on July 25, 1946, the daughter of Herschel and Pauline Hames. She is survived by her children, Karen West of Dallas; Morris W. West of Palo Alto, CA, Anthony and Candice Horton of Dallas, and Brian Horton of Mableton; grandchildren, Shelli and Scott McClannahan of Colorado and Taylor Aldred of McDonough; great grandchildren, Caleb McClannahan, Hailey McClannahan, both of Colorado and Sami Aldred of McDonough; great-great grandson Bentley McClannahan of Colorado; sisters Carol Dalrymple of LaGrange and Sandra Bright of Mableton; aunt Edna Martin of Mableton, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Horton. Mrs. Horton was a wonderful mother and grandmother who had a special love for each member of her family. She would often tell them "I love everybody differently." According to her wishes, Mrs. Horton will be cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.
