Joyce Kirk

Lucy Joyce Kirk, 76 of Hapeville, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019. She was born October 1, 1942 in Atlanta, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Morris and Willie Estelle Smith Morris. She is survived by her son Chris Kirk (Debbie Ferguson) of Martinsville, Indiana; sisters Martha Morris and Vickie Griffin, both of Hapeville; brother Donnie (Debbie) Griffin of Lithia Springs; half-brother Ronald Morris of Conyers and half-sister Brenda Sandwich of Snellville; grandchildren, Christopher (Dana) Cox, Cayla (Anthony) Thomson, Kelsey Gribbons, Alyssa Lewis and Kylie Lewis; great grandchildren Danielle Gribbons, Levi and Lacey Thomson and Mackenzie Cox, and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Morris, mother Estelle Griffin, stepfather, Jake Griffin, daughter Andrea Lewis and long-time love, Johnny Ireland. Joyce retired from United Way to raise her granddaughters. She was devoted to her family, they were the most important thing in the world to her. She will be greatly missed. To celebrate Joyce's life the family will receive friends from 2 to 5 pm Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Roy Davis Funeral Home. According to her wishes she will be cremated and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
