Josh Green

Joshua (Josh) Stephen Green, age 44 of Temple, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Josh was born in Atlanta on October 11, 1977. He is survived by his wife, Misty Green; 9 children, Chloe, Jordan, Aubrey, Ethan, Logan (Jacky), Tristan, Gabrielle, Alison (Matt) and Haley; grandson, Brody; parents, Wendell & Wylette Green; father-in-law, Joe O’Leary; siblings, Jennifer (Brandon) and Brandon; brothers-in-law, Keith, Brian (Lori) and Jacob, and 12 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James & Vivian Cranford, and Emory & Lois Green; mother-in-law, Ronda O’Leary and father-in-law, Mike Moody. Josh was the best person you ever wanted to meet. He always put others first, would do anything for anybody and connected with everybody. He loved unconditionally and made a point to tell everyone how he felt. When he married Misty he became Dad to her kids when he took them as his own. There was no such thing as a step-parent in the Green family.He was close to all his kids and proud of every one. Two years ago his love grew when he became a proud Paw Paw. He loved to eat Oreos with his girls and learned to cook because he loved to eat. An avid sports fan, Josh enjoyed watching any sport, especially college football. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs and proudly watched them win the National Championship this year. Josh worked as a Heating and Air Technician for C2H Air and Electric. He was smart, fun and witty; always the life of the party. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and by all who knew him. The family of Josh Green will receive friends at Roy Davis Funeral Home from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 29 and 30. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 31, at 2:00 pm, followed by burial at Mozley Memorial Gardens.
