John Anthony Weghorn

John Weghorn of Lithia Springs was born January 8, 1938, was baptized August 1, 2010 and passed away October 31, 2010. He is survived by his sons, Randy Weghorn of Gainesville and Doug Weghorn of Lithia Springs; daughters, Debbie and her husband Daryl Sokol of Douglasville and Pam Stone of Gainesville; grandchildren, Megan Polansky, Ramon Weghorn, Rayna Weghorn, Tori Sokol, Mason Sokol, Hudson Stone and Olivia Stone, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Weghorn was a retired Douglas County Firefighter. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs and a member of the Moose Lodge. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at Roy Davis Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 4 pm in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Mike Sinyard officiating.
