John Mark Satterfield

John Mark Satterfield, 58 of Hiram, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Lisa & Bill Dougherty of Satsuma, FL; son John Curtis (JC) Satterfield of Tampa; mother Annette Satterfield of Hiram; brothers and sisters-in-law David & Cheryl Satterfield of Anna, TX and James Phillip & Latasha Satterfield of Austell; grandchildren Benjamin Wright, Branden Dougherty and Logan Dougherty, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death in 2015 by his father, Drake Satterfield and recently his daugther Lisa Dougherty passed away due to her illness on July 28, 2020. John proudly served in the US Marines - Once a Marine, always a Marine! Hewas a great cook and loved to entertain. He grew up attending Olive Street Church of Christ and stayed in contact with friends from there. He was a gentle person and a good hearted soul who will be missed by his family. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, August 2, 2020 at West Metro Church of Christ, 4550 Hiram Sudie Road, Hiram. Interment will be 10:30 am Monday, August 3, 2020, at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton.
