John David Merck

Mr. John David "Dave" Merck, age 67 of Mableton, died Wednesday, October 14, 2010 at his residence.He is survived by his loving wife, Joan Merck; sons, Randy Walker of Atlanta, Greg Merck of Mableton, Don Merck of Mableton, Scott Merck of Mableton; daughters, Ginger Morrow of Douglasville, Tammy Davis of Marietta; brothers, Charles Merck and Jim Merck; 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, David Lee Merck. The family will receive friends Friday and Saturday from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.Funeral Service will be held Sunday, 3 pm, at Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Crawford officiating.Interment will be held at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Merck was enjoyed deer hunting and was looking forward to the beginning of deer season.He was a member of Leland Masonic Lodge in Mableton.
