John Lamar Garmon passed away Monday, June 19, 2023.
He was born in Douglas County, Georgia on December 27, 1982.
John had a great sense of humor, he was compassionate, and he was kind-hearted.
He was a very creative person who excelled in everything he put his mind to including playing drums, making music, and playing sports.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Billy J. Hawkins Sr, his grandfather Carl Seevers and his brother Joseph Garmon.
He is survived by his loving mother Cheryl Seevers, stepfather Jerry Teal,
father Billy J. Hawkins Jr., his beloved children Casey and Chasity Brewer, his
siblings, Tiffany (Travis) Teal, Stephanie (Austin) Humphries, and Cheyenne (Justin) Beavers as well as his grandmother Theresa Napoli, his grandmother Sharon Seevers, his Uncle Skip Seevers, his cousin Russell
Hunnewell, nieces and nephews Jordyn and Jarimiah Garmon, Brayden and William
Teal, Travis Jr, Ava, and Zoey Brantley, DJ, Jareth, and Kylie Drinnon, Presley, Kylee and Beau Beavers, best friend Melissa Crump, childhood best friend Chuck Altimari, and a host of other relatives and friends.
John was an amazing son, father, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle, and
friend. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Until
we meet again.
