John R. Evans

John R. Evans age 70, of Mableton, passed away August 16. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; daughter, Michelle Lane; brother, Charles Wayne Evans; sisters, Terri (Wesley) Jenkins and Shelma Quinn; nephew, Rudy Evans and aunt, Jacqui Charalampakis. Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his sons, Rodney, J. K. and Donnie Ray. He was a devoted Christian and a loyal member of Mount Harmony Baptist Church. His passions included his precious dog, Bandi, and UGA college football.

The family will receive friends at Mount Harmony Baptist Church on Thursday, August 18 from 11 am to 12 pm with a graveside service following at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens.
