Joel Dean Roach, age 67 of Douglasville, died Thursday, January 1, 2015 at his residence.He issurvived by his daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Chad Everett, of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Beth Roach, of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Christopher Jordan, Ryan Jordan, Camron Whitlow, Tayler Whitlow, Logan Everett, Ethan Everett, Brylee Roach, Tyler Roach, Justin Roach; great-grandchildren, Chloe Jordan, Peyton Jordan, Paxton Jordan, Mason Whitlow, Charleigh Whitlow, Christian Jordan, Caiden Jordan; brother, Terry Roach; nephew, Brian Roach of Dallas. He was United States Veteran serving in the Army, Joel Dean Roach also retired from the City of Atlanta where he employed as a maintenance mechanic. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Alexander officiating.Interment, Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs.The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
