Joan Marie Leatherwood

Mrs. Joan Marie Crumley Leatherwood, age 80, of Lithia Springs, GA, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at her residence surrounded by the love of her family.

Mrs. Leatherwood was born on May 5, 1944, in Aragon, Georgia to her parents, the late Mr. Roy Lee Crumley and Mrs. Lillian Swift Crumley. Mrs. Leatherwood loved spending time with her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling, traveling to Panama City Beach, shopping then enjoying a nice Mexican meal and loving on her family.

Mrs. Leatherwood will be dearly missed by her many friends and loved ones.

She is survived by her daughter; Donna Stephens, grandchildren, Brooke Stephens, James Stephens, Nicholas Stephens and Nathaniel Stephens. Great grandchildren; Levi Wheeler, Lilyana Kamna, Patty McCarty and Katie Stephens, brother, Roy Lee Crumley and many nieces, nephews, other friends, and relatives also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Jerry Leatherwood, and her sister, Juanta Brooks.

In keeping with her wishes Mrs. Leatherwood has been cremated and her family will receive friends and family for a memorial visitation on Saturday July 6, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Roy Davis Funeral Home.
