Mrs. Wood loved to praise the Lord during spirit filled services at Open Door Assembly of God. Without a doubt she entered Heaven “singin’ and shoutin’.” She never met a stranger and always welcomed anyone and everyone into her home. She loved getting all her family together, close and extended. She loved planting and growing beautiful flowers, shopping, singing and dancing. She enjoyed life and could always find something positive in every tough situation. She had a contagious smile and she had charisma. She was Grams to her grandkids and great grandkids, and to many others. Kids were just drawn to her as soon as they saw her. Sue brought joy to everyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Jimmie Sue Wood at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 26, at Pure Hope Church (formerly Mableton Assembly of God), 6601 Mableton Parkway.
