On Thursday, May 7, 2020, Jerry Lynn Irwin Jr, a caring husband and father passed away at the age of 58, at his home in Austell, Georgia. Jerry was born on April 27, 1962 in Atlanta Georgia and served honorably in the US Airforce. He was preceded in death by his wife Micki Andrea Irwin (nee’ Paul) and his stepfather Charles Samples. Jerry was a loving father, son, and brother who had a charmingly warm personality filled with passion and an eagerness to help anyone in need. He believed in protecting our country, true freedom and was a defender of human rights, to say the least, he was a true Patriot. He touched those around him with his sweet kind nature, making it impossible to not be his friend. He adored his precious chihuahuas Pepper and Chompers. He also had a love for stereo systems, cars, motorcycles and rock music. He was also a man who would gaze upon the stars with his telescope and could talk for hours about space theories. His hobbies included competing at anything his son challenged him to and telling infamous semi-funny dad-jokes. He was enormously proud of his children and encouraged them in all of their hopes, dreams and endeavors—to lead not follow. They will never forget what he has taught and will live on to cherish his positive memory. “Do as I say, Not as I do.” - Our father Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
