Janis Antionette Brooks

Janis Antionette Brooks 74, of Lithia Springs passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021. She was born in Washington D.C. to Josephus and Elaine Barksdale. She is survived by her children, Howard Taft Mitchell Jr., Payton Mitchell, André Mitchell Sr., Kelli Crawford, and Andreá Brooks. Her grandchildren, Keyanna Mitchell, Howard Taft Mitchell III, Payton Mitchell Jr., Antonio Mitchell, André Mitchell Jr., N’Dayshaa Shelton, QAuinci Fizer, Kelsi Fizer, Rodney Crawford Jr. She has 14 great grandchildren, and several other family and friends. Janis is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Ronald J. Brooks.
