Janie Spann

On January 12, 2017 at 4:45pm our Heavenly Father requested his daughter Janie Orr Spann to come home. Janie was in her Marietta home of 40 years surrounded by her husband Kenny and daughters Heather, Katie and Kristen. Janie was born the daughter of Huge & Bronzie Carlisle Orr on August 12,1955 in Marietta Georgia. She and her siblings grew up near the Marietta Square on Cascade Dr.Janie graduated from Marietta High School in 1973 and continued to college to become a practicing nurse of over 21 years.She married her best friend Kenny L. Spann on April 24, 1975.Together they raised their 3 beautiful daughters Heather Lee, Kathryn Lynn & Kristen Marie near Kennesaw Mountain.Janie has 5 amazing grandchildren; Hannah Nicole, Baylee Ryan, Max Lucas, Joseph Anthony and Alex Giovani. Janie was best known for her incredible passion for life and her loving heart. Her radiant beauty and explosive energy would permeate through any room and lift anyone's spirit. She loved spending time with her family most of all.Whether it was walking at Kennesaw Mountain, sitting at the pool or telling stories by a fire, Janie just loved being together and making magical memories.
