Janice M. Mcdougal

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Janice M. McDougal. This sweet woman left us on November 2, 2024. She left in peace and for that we are so grateful.
Janice was born on January 2, 1961, in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. She resided in Austell, Georgia for many years.
She was certainly one of a kind, if you met her, you would never have forgotten her. A beautiful woman inside and out, with a smile that would light up a room, and a laugh waiting to happen. She loved life and all the people around her. She loved her animals. Every stray that came around was welcomed with love. She will truly be missed.
Janice is survived by her daughter Nikell Priest, her 2 grandchildren Kaylynn and Levi, her sister Arlene Jackson, as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother Inez Chastain, brother Bobby Dobbs, and sisters Audrey Porter and Sue Brown.

As the only child of Janice McDougal, I would like to leave a note for the two who made my mom’s last couple years of her life everything she deserved.
Without hesitation, Sid McDougal and Robin Elliot quickly became Janice’s angels on earth. There are no words to describe my gratitude to the actions you both displayed inwardly and outwardly.
Selfless, humble, gentle, and patient.
You were both sent to Janice, and for that I am grateful.
I love you both!
