James Andrew Stephens

James Andrew “Andy” Stephens passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to James “Pete” and Margaret “Molly” Stephens on December 10, 1955. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Jan Stephens. His Children: Rebecca and spouse Tommy Hewitt, Nathan and spouse Micah Slack, and Jamie and spouse Matt Gunnels. He has four grandchildren: CJ Slack, Isabella Slack, Lilly Hewitt, and Hadley Hewitt. Brother-in-law Jay Smith, and Sister-in-law Loretta Smith. Several cherished nieces and nephews. Andy was preceded in death by his parents and one sibling, Rosemary Martinez, and Brother-in-law Ed Smith. Andy will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for his witty sense of humor, his love for camping, clay shooting, curiosity for the unknown and his devoted sense of family. There is a Memorial Service being held at First Baptist Church of Chattahoochee, 1950 Bolton Rd. Atl. On Saturday June 29, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
