James Lee Myers

James Lee Myers, 68, of Douglasville, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. James was born October 29, 1950 in Atlanta, son of the late Richard Carlton Myers and Ruth Elizabeth Ward Myers. He lived in the Atlanta area for most of his life and was an avid Beatles Collector and also enjoyed photography. He worked in Graphic Design for several agencies including Mead and Miller Zell Inc Print Center. He was a member of St. Julian’s Episcopal Church in Douglasville. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his older sister, Mary Anne Myers. Survivors include his husband, Jim Wilcox; a sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Richard Rollen; and several nieces and nephews; also aunts/uncles/cousins. The family will gather at Roy Davis Funeral Home to receive friends on Sunday, January 27, 2019 beginning at 12 noon until the funeral hour. Funeral services for James Lee Myers will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Roy Davis Funeral Home with Father Brandon Duke officiating.Burial will immediately follow the service in Mt.
