James (Jimmy) Luther Dodgen

Officer James L. Dodgen, 73, of Austell,Ga, died April 23, 2009.He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Hilda Anne Reed Dodgen, sons, Ronnie & his wife Carla Dodgen of Temple, Brian & wife Michelle Dodgen of Centre, AL, Phillip & wife Sandy Dodgen of Dallas, GA, brother, Tommy Dodgen of Oxford, GA, sisters Regina Horidan of Rincon, Helen Hillsman of Ballground, GA, 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.Mr. Dodgen gave 25 years of faithful service to the Atlanta Police department, 10 years of service to Federal security, served our country in the Navy, enjoyed woodworking and family camping.
