James Brock Havron

March 16, 1960 — April 18, 2019

J. Brock Havron III lost his valiant fight with cancer on April 18, 2019. He was born in Greenville, SC to James “Jim” B. Havron Jr. and Julia Hiers Havron on March 16, 1960. Brock was a graduate of Henderson High School and attended The University of Alaska in Fairbanks, Alaska. He was a graduate of Georgia State University. Brock was employed by Southeastern Skate Supply Inc. of Mableton. He loved life and his interests were many. He loved to talk about the weather, learned to fly an airplane, and played hockey. He loved to snow ski and enjoyed gardening and of course golf. He enjoyed music and played with his friends in a band called Truck Stop Babies. He is preceded in death by his father and is survived by the love of his life Tania Chitwood Havron. His mom: Julia Hiers Havron, sister: Donna H. Stefano (Todd). Nieces: Caitlin H. Chapman, Elin Chitwood. Nephews: Spencer Stefano, and Keegan Chitwood. A great-nephew: Theron Lee Chapman, and a great group of friends. A celebration of Brock’s life will be held at Austell First United Methodist Church 5705 Mulberry St, Austell, GA 30106. On Saturday May 4th, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
