James K. Daniel

James K. Daniel, 58 of Clarkdale, passed away at his home early Tuesday morning, March 8, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Susan Daniel; son Corey Daniel; mother Mary Mimbs; twin brother Kelley Daniel; sisters, Lisa Jordan and Angie Story; brother Tommy Mimbs, and brother-in-law Ricky Camp. He was preceded in death by his son Stephen Daniel, and his father James B. Daniel. Kevin, as he was called by his family, was a true Braves fan and always watched the games. He enjoyed watching the Falcons and the Kansas City Chiefs during football season, and watched Nascar before Dale Earnhardt Jr. retired. Other TV favorites were Jeopardy, the Food Network and HGTV. Married to the love of his life, Susan, since September 12, 1986, they were long time members of Clarkdale First Baptist Church. Mr. Daniel sang in the choir, enjoyed church fellowship and loved reading his Bible. He met wrestler Lex Luger when he came to the church for the very first time. Mr. Daniel never met a stranger and would be talking with anyone like an old friend within minutes of meeting them. He had a special smile and was always ready with a hug. Health issues kept him out of the work force but he willingly helped around the house.He was a loving, kind man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service to honor the life of James K. Daniel will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Roy Davis Funeral Home.
