Jackie Ann Buchanan

Jackie Ann (Rogers) Buchanan, age 84, of Franklin, GA passed away peacefully at home on Monday April 7, 2025, at 6:55 am. She was born on July 24, 1940, in Blue Ridge, Georgia to Ralph P. Rogers and Freda (Southern) Rogers. She was married on January 31, 1954, in Atlanta, Georgia to Preston Lee Buchanan and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Frank) D’Amato; 2 brothers; Ricky Rogers, Danny Rogers; 8 Grandchildren; 2 Great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Vickie Buchanan, Kathy Hindman and her son Terry Buchanan.

Jackie was a very outgoing person. She loved listening to LOUD country music. She enjoyed sunbathing, working in her garden and yard. Her fun times were spent going to thrift stores and sitting in her rocking chair on the front porch.

Funeral services will be held at Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Thursday April 10, 2025. Interment will be at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Karen Rogers Reese.
