Irene M. Mccormack

Irene M. McCormack, 88 of Austell, passed away at her home on April 8, 2020. She was born on May 25, 1931 in Bronx, New York. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. John L. (Helen) Sullivan; husband, Raymond James McCormack; sisters, Helen Searing and Jeanne Kossomede, and grandson, Louis J. Caldararo. She is survived by her children, Irene (Louis, Sr.) Caldararo of Powder Springs; John Deckert (Michelle Franck) of New York, and Maureen Gravely of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Lisa (Luke) Kerley of Powder Springs; Kimberly (Louis, Jr.) Caldararo of Douglasville; John Caldararo (Tiffany Griffin) of Marietta; Michael (Tara) Deckert of New York, Elizabeth (Danny) Archer of Wilmington Island, GA; Robert (Aoife) Deckert of New York; Douglas Davis of Austell and David Gravely of Powder Springs; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. McCormack was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family. At this time a private service is planned. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Assocation.
