Irene Caldararo

Irene Caldararo age 71, of Powder Springs, passed away December 1, 2022. She is survived by her husband, Louis; daughter, Lisa Kerley; son, John (Tiffany); daughter-in-law, Kimberly; brothers, John Deckert and Billy Deckert; sisters, Anita Barbuto and Maureen Gravely; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Irene Deckert and son, Louis Caldararo Jr. Mrs. Caldararo worked in the Cobb County school system as a paraprofessional for 28 years before retiring from Keheley Elementary School. She loved her grandchildren and was their biggest cheerleader for all of their sporting events. When her grandchildren weren't on the field, Mrs. Caldararo continued to show her love and support for her beloved New York Yankees.

Per her wishes there will be no public service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
