Mr. Henry Sanders, age 71, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away on March 16, 2017.Mr. Sanders was born in Summerville, Georgia in 1946 to Henry & Nelle Sanders.Mr. Sanders proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1969.He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife of fifty years, Evelyn Sanders; son, Christian Lee Sanders; daughter, Melissa Renee (Jay) Collins; sister, Elizabeth (Robert W.) Jefferson; Evelyn's four siblings and their families; four nieces; two nephews; three grand-nephews; three grand-nieces; Max, his dog; and a host of loved ones and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, March 23, 2016 at the Roy Davis Funeral Home, Austell, Georgia from 5:00pm-8:00pm.Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held on Friday, March 24, 2016 in the Chapel of Roy Davis Funeral Home at 11:00am.The Rev. Cindy Blocksidge and the Rev. Dave Pearce will officiate.
