Helen Mae Deming

Helen Mae Deming, age 83 of Smyrna, died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family.She is survived by her children, Tim Deming of Smyrna and Nancy Jones of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Amanda Mahs of Douglasville and Matthew Jones of Douglasville; great granddaughter, Raegan Mahs of Douglasville. Helen Mae Deming, a native of Douglas County, was born on January 1, 1929 to the late Harvey Comer Harbin and Elsie Dicey Angel Harbin.She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Abraham Deming on November 24, 1995. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Foster and Dr. Ken Ellison officiating. Interment, Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
