Hazel Jeanette Baldwin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hazel Jeanette Baldwin, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Hazel passed away peacefully on Monday, October 7th, 2024, at the age of 82, in her home in Greenville, Georgia.

Born on Wednesday, July 29th, 1942, in Anniston, Alabama, Hazel was the cherished daughter of the late Raymond and Hazel Carroll. She was also preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Cretia Baldwin, and her brother, Joe Carroll.

Hazel dedicated her life to her family as a devoted housewife. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering love were the cornerstones of her family, and she took immense pride in caring for those around her. Her home was always a place of warmth and welcome, where family and friends gathered to create lasting memories.

She is survived by her loving son, Johnny Baldwin, who carries forward her legacy of love and kindness. Hazel was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren and a doting great-grandmother to ten great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her dear sisters, Eddie Jones and Mary Caudell, along with several other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Hazel's life was a testament to the power of love and family. Her gentle spirit and generous heart touched all who knew her, and her memory will forever be cherished by those she leaves behind.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Roy Davis Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Hazel's life and honor her memory. Details of the service will be shared in the coming days.
