Harold Duward Broome, age 83 of Austell died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Tranquility Hospice in Austell.He is survived by his wife, Joyce Harris Broome; sons, Jerome Broome of Newnan, Terry Broome of Powder Springs; daughters, Lynn Broome of Austell, Coleen Broome Camp of Mooresville, N.C.; sisters, Mary Ferrell of Newnan, Annie Mae Copeland of Tifton; brother, Ronald Broome of Fairburn; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A transportation dock foreman, he worked for Roadway Express and various other companies; was a United States Armed Forces Member serving in the Navy; was a Mason, belonging to theGrand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons. Graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Chafin officiating.The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 pm until 8 pm and Thursday from noon until time toproceed to cemetery, leaving around 1:30 pm.
