Harold Bell

Harold Bell, 90, of Acworth passed away on July 27, 2021. He was born in Hawkinsville, Ga in 1930 to the late Frank and Sarah Bell He is survived by: wife, Anne Martin Bell of Acworth; son David (Megan) Bell of Kennesaw; daughters Brenda (Jerry) Thomas of Jacksonville, Fla. and Dianne Valentine of Jonesboro, Ga.; 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grand Children; sister Charlotte (Curtis) Collins of Chelsea, Ala. He was preceded in death by a brother Brewer Bell and sister Sarah Ham. Mr. Bell very much enjoyed gardening, wood working, and camping along with activities involving First Baptist Church Jonesboro where he was affectionately known as, “The Tomato Man”, as he would share his harvest with those he loved. A memorial service will be held from 9:30 -11:30 on Saturday July 31, 2021, at Celebration Village in Acworth, Georgia with burial at 1:30 in Fairburn at Holly Hill Cemetery.
