Grace Johnson Easterwood

Grace Johnson Easterwood, age 84 of Powder Springs, died Sunday, November 29, 2009. She is survived by her sons, James Carter of Mobile, AL and Doug Wilson of Powder Springs; daughters, Paula Clinton of Lithia Springs, Carmel Rooks of Jonesboro and Mary Johnson of Covington; sister, Melba McLendon of Tennessee; 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Hollie Lester; son, Roy Wakefield Wilson, and her husband of 50 years, Kinney Easterwood, who died April 6, 2009. Mrs. Easterwood was a homemaker and also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wedensday, December 2, 2009 in the Chapel of Roy Davis Funeral Home with interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday evening from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
