Glenda Palmer Rahman

Glenda Palmer Rahman age 59, of Mableton, passed away Friday, April 17. Glenda was born the daughter of Marion Alexander Palmer and Mary Ann (Wigginton) Palmer on December 7, 1955 in Cleveland, Mississippi. Glenda was a natural caregiver. She worked as a Nursing Assistant until her retirement in 2001. She cared for her animals; she cared for her garden, growing herbs, fruits and vegetables and she cared for her family by baking, barbecuing and cooking her family meals. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Atiqur Rahman; daughters, Jennifer Patel of Murfreesboro, TN and Ashley Rahman of Hapeville, GA; son, Kori Rahman of Kingwood, TX; mother, Mary Palmer; brothers, Marion Palmer, Michael Palmer and Bryan Palmer and grandsons, Marcus Rahman of Hapeville, GA and Christopher Patel of Murfreesboro, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 24 from 4pm to 8pm at Roy Davis Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, April 25 at 11 am.
