Georgia Leastie Boone Roberts, age 87 died Friday, October 17, 2008 at Heartland Hospice in Austell.She is preceded in death by her husband, H.O. Roberts and son, Larry Roberts.She is survived by her son, J.R. Roberts of Bremen; daughters, Florence Fletcher of Douglasville, Frances McBroom of Lithia Springs, Louise McGuire of Douglasville, Bonnie Moon of Douglasville, Remona Anderson of Lithia Springs; 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; sister, Lois McDarris of North Carolina. Mrs. Roberts loved sewing and had sewn some beautiful quilts.She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church for over 58 years where she held the title of being the oldest living member.Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Poplar Springs Baptist Church on Factory Shoals Road in Lithia Springs and interment Monday, October 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM, Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs.The family will receive friends Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the funeral home during the hours of 5 pm until 8 pm.
