George Allen Reid

George Allen "Flip" Reid, 74, of Lithia Springs, died at his home on December 12, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.He was born in Atlanta on July 31, 1935 to the late Meriott and Edna Reid.He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Terry and Danny Jackson of Funston, GA sons, Allen and wife Angela Reid of Doulasville, Gregg Reid of Lithia Springs, James and Fianc'ee Claire Erlacher of Lithia Springs, Grandsons, Gregg Reid and Ricky Reid of Lithia Springs, Corey Jackson of Funston, GA, granddaughters Beth Powell of Lithia Springs Amanda Jackson of Falls Church, VA great grandchildren, Matthew Powell, Lily Jackson and Allison Jackson.Sister Judy and husband Ronnie Mann of Columbus, GA, neices Cathy Dulohery and Stacie Hall.He was a 1953 graduate of Southwest High School and owned Reid's Deli in mableton for many years.
