George Nicholas Dematteis

George Nicholas DeMatteis, age 86 of Winston, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at his residence.He is lovingly survived by his wife, Barbara DeMatteis; sons, Michael DeMatteis of Washington, Nicholas DeMatteis of Louisiana; 1 brother, 5 sisters, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Mr. DeMatteis was a U.S. Navy, Master Chief Petty Officer.A celebration service will be held 2 pm, Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Mark Taylor officiating. Interment in Arlington National Cemetery is scheduled for a later date in June, 2011.
