Fred Edward Pate, 87 of Cartersville, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 pm Monday. The funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday, April 14, in the funeral home chapel. Burial with military honors will be 1:30 pm Tuesday at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
