It is with heavy hearts , we announce the passing of Frances “Gail” Zaloznik, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Gail passed away on Thursday, October 10th, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on Monday, June 30th, 1947, in Atlanta, GA, she was a resident of Dallas, GA.
Gail is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Glen Zaloznik. Together, they built a beautiful family and life filled with love. She leaves behind her children, Angie Sammons, Darren Zaloznik (Dawn), Derek Zaloznik (Elisabeth), grandchildren Lauren (Cody) , Adrian, Alec, Ava, Jacob , and Adam, nieces, nephews, and a host friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lofton and Theresa Puckett, her daughter Amanda Zaloznik, and her siblings Eleanor Dobson, Linda Neuhaus, and Gerald Puckett.
Gail dedicated her professional life to her role in collections at AT&T, where she was respected and admired by her colleagues.
Beyond her career, she was a woman of many passions. She loved caring for her family, attending her children and grandchildren’s dance recitals and ballgames, reading, family vacations, and trips to the beach. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, and a talented cook, known for bringing people together with her delicious meals.
Arrangements for Gail are being handled by Roy Davis Funeral Home. Her family invites all who knew her to join in celebrating her life and cherishing the memories she leaves behind, November 9, 2024 with times and location to be announced.
Gail Zaloznik will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
