Frances Penley Graves

Frances Penley Graves passed away on September 24, 2016. She was a native of Lindale, GA and a longtime resident of Smyrna, GA. She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Aubrey Lee Graves and their two precious sons, John Anthony (Tony) and Timothy Lee (Tim). She was the proud grandmother of five loving grandchildren, Kathleen, Andrew, Michael, Stacey and Anna Graves; with the recent addition of two beautiful great grandchildren, Jake and Connor Graves. Frances had been an avid bowler, and active in many organizations over her lifetime including Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, Smyrna Women’s Club, PTA, freelance writer for the Smyrna Neighbor newspaper and member of the Shutterbug Club. She was a dedicated member of Vinings First Baptist Church. Services will be held there this Sunday at 5:30 with visitation preceding in the Welcome Center of the Church at 4:30. She was a very special lady and will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Calvary Children’s Home in Powder Springs, GA.
