Elder Larry Joe Keaton The Lord loaned to us, Elder Larry Keaton for 69 years.Friday, July 14, 2017 the Lord took him home.Elder Keaton was a humble servant of the Lord and was ordained to the ministry in 1998.He served as Moderator of Cold Springs Primitive Baptist Church for 19 years.Larry was born to Elder Grady and Grace Keaton on May 17, 1948, in Winston, GA.He attended Winston Elementary and Douglas County High School.He lived his entire life in the Winston and Villa Rica area where he has many friends.He is preceded in death by his parents; oldest sister, Zelma Gullatte of Alabama.He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Martha South Keaton; sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Bolinger of Villa Rica and Tim and Ashely South of Hiram; grandsons, Shawn, Jacob and Tristan South; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Donald Morris of Villa Rica; brother, Grady L. Keaton of Carrollton; sister, Cindy Gray of Douglasville. A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 am, Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Cold Springs Primitive Baptist Church, 4477 Post Road, Winston, Georgia with food and fellowship following the church service.In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made in his memory to the Cold Springs Cemetery Fund.
