Elaine V. Barksdale

Elaine V. Barksdale passed away Friday, October 11, 2019., She was born January 21, 1930 in Washington D.C. to Raymond and Bernice McKinley. Elaine retired from the Federal Government as an Accounting Assistant for 23 years. She also volunteered for many years at WellStar. She is survived by her daughter, Janis A. Brooks (widowed, Ronald J. Brooks). Her grandchildren; Howard T. Mitchell Jr., Payton A. Mitchell, Andre G. Mitchell, and Kelli Elaine Crawford. She had ten great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. Elaine is preceded in death by her husband Theodore Lucus. Her Siblings; Raymond J. McKinley Jr., Margaret McKinley, Charles Anthony McKinley, Deloris McKinley, and Gloria McKinley.
