Edwin Durand Donaldson

Mr. Edwin Durand Donaldson, 70, of Mableton, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Tranquility Cobb Hospice. Mr. Donaldson was born December 17, 1947 in Atlanta, son of the late Harry Arden Donaldson and Corine Geneva Kent Donaldson. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a former member of American Legion, 264, Mableton. He was a member of Atlanta West Pentecostal Church. He worked all of his life as a Printing Pressman. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Mary Donaldson; daughters and son-in-law, Debra and Bud Ray and Paula Donaldson; a son, Bill Donaldson; grandchildren, Kaley Donaldson, Dwayne Ray, Brooke Ray, Kaitlin Ray, Kirstin Ray, and Michelle Bishop; great-grandchildren, Avery Donaldson, Jack Penfold, Hayven Bishop and one TBD (on the way). The family will gather at Roy Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. to receive friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Atlanta West Pentecostal Church with Rev. Darrell Johns officiating. Mr. Donaldson will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour. Burial will immediately follow the service in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
